Frequently asked questions

Does Clean Copied Text send my text anywhere?
No. Everything happens locally in your browser. Your text is never uploaded or stored on a server.
Will it change my actual words?
The general clean only normalizes spacing, line breaks and invisible characters. It does not rewrite or delete your content.
Is there a length limit?
You can paste very long text. Extremely large documents may take a moment to process in the browser.
Does it fix line endings from different operating systems?
Yes. Windows ( ), old Mac ( ) and Unix ( ) line endings are all normalized to one consistent format first.
What counts as an "invisible" character here?
Non-breaking spaces, zero-width spaces and other Unicode whitespace variants that look like a normal space but can break search-and-replace or copy-paste.
Is there a practical size limit?
You can paste very long text. Documents over about 100,000 characters show a brief warning since processing may take a moment — everything still runs locally, just slower on very large input.
